I have played many mmorpgs , and my favourit is with an dynamic skillbar,

Example you for example use Sandcontroll, after you activated that skill/jutsu your mouse cursor turns to a huge cycle, with this cycle you can decide where you want let your jutsu strike.

Afterwards you skillbar turns to like

1: sand moves from left to right
2: sand moves from right to left
3.sand moves from front to back
4: sand moves from back to front
5: Sand moves from up to down
6: sand moves from down to top
7: Start finsihing move
8 : Protect onself
9 : finishing move
0: cancel jutsu


if you press 0 your jutsu is canceled and you get your normal skillbar back.

if you press 9 you can at a finishing move if the sand is close enough to the enemy ( of course this will consume some extra chakra,

after pressing "9" your skill bar change again like " sand forms foots and steps down on the enemy or sand forms two hands and crush the enemy or something like sand forms one hughe hand and punches the enemy....


btw while sand control is activated you lose per time some chakra.


This control could be used on puppeteers and other jutsus and would keep the game real dynamic^_^

This is a quite nice idea. It could work the same for insect control,the only problem I could see is if somebody had a large amount of chakra (due to training or bijuu),they would become very overpowered. So maybe a way to solve this is that you can only use sand control for a certain amount of time during a battle.

i dont really like the idea of needing 9 keys for 1 jutsu ,no offence.

I don't think that's what he meant. What I understand from this is that once you activate the jutsu 9 skills that work with jutsu also appear (instead of your normal ones). For example if you have a clone jutsu ,the mabye it gets replaced with a sand/insect/whatever clone jutsu.

Yeah for example if you are using shadow clones you should be able to decide what the shadow clones are doing.

So some examples are

let a water clone explode like itachi did...
Or like kisame let waterbunsihn use other jutsu like waterprison

or let them transform in a giant shuriken and throw it at the enemy like Naruto does in many games...



Or for example kiba let akamru transform and after the transformation akamru can use other jutsu like combination gatsuga and so on.


So you skill/jutsu bar just changes a bit depending on the jutsu/weapon and so on you use.

you do not always need 10 keys for one jutsu Lol xD

Amazing idea bro i honestly love it.

I was also thinking maybe you can target with jutsu instead. Fireball jutsu before it is released you are required to click a spot to shoot it towards.

Do you guys think these ideas are realistic though? Im not sure i just hope that they can find some way to work it out

I think they are realistic Razz, In gw 2 for example some skills change your hole skillbar^_^

I think it is possible to program it if you use pointers and so on^^, but it will take a time to balance out every jutsu but if you have finished written the first , and have a well organized jutsu folder it should be possible^^

But honestly if you do not put effort in jutsu skillz, they will always look like crap

for example if you spend lees time in them they will be many bugs , like always hitting , or hitting in wrong direction and lands critical hits Very Happy

Or my favourit you use for example Fireball jutsu. your fireball aims in

in this ----> direction ,

but the enemy stands

in this <--- this direction

and you land a hit just because the enemy was in your pre programmed range when you start using the jutsu:D

I just want to say I do not mind if they put much efforts and time in the jutsu and normal attacks, then neither let it look like crap .

(sorry for saying crap so often xD )
