The point of this thread is to discuss fights that never occurred during the series. I will try and set up relatively equal match-ups between equal leveled shinobi. I may occasionally throw you guys a curve ball every once in awhile. So be ready!

Rules:
Only discuss the most current match-up, no suggestions for future match-ups.
New Match-Up everyday.

First Match-Up:

Gai (S)
vs.
Nagato (Six Paths of Pein)

Winner: Nagato (Six Paths of Pein)

Second Match-Up:

Naruto (SM)
vs.
Itachi (Healthy)

Can Nagato use six paths? 'Cause if he can't, it will obviously be Gai.

I would say Gai would beat the shit out of the Nagato that is binded to that machine

I'd say Gai. Seeing how quick Rock Lee is in the match vs Gaara, Gai must be A LOT faster. Which means that he could knock out all of the six paths in less than a milisecond. But the Naruto world isn't really that logical, so that'd probably not work.

I could beat the shit out of Nagato,i mean he is incapacitated.

And IMO Gai could NEVER beat the six paths of Painz

did you guys forget how strong he was when he fought hanzo without the six paths of pain?

If not then gai.

Meh, Nagato. It was pretty hard for Gai to defeat Kisame, now to go against Nagato, that would be a blood bath. Without the 6 paths? Gai, but it will be a close fight. With 6 paths, Nagato would beat the shet outta Gai (love Gai all the same though )

Nobody has thoughts on Naruto (Sage Mode) vs. Itachi (Healthy)?

Naruto Sage mode. If he could defeat Pein, then he could most likely defeat Itachi. Even though Naruto sucks at Genjutsu, his stats are increased by 33% in Sage Mode, making him mroe immune to Genjutsu.

The difference is he said "sage naruto". His stats are increased, including his genjutsu awareness.
